Hot Pilates

A full-body session focused on building functional strength large muscle groups. Class begins on the floor with grounding exercises to tune in and increase mind-body connection, also called somatic awareness.  Still on the floor you will move into exercises strengthening your glutes and back, and then into abdominal and side-body execises. Class peaks with a standing series of intervals benefitting endurance, full-body strength and determination. Benefits: physical and mental endurance, strength, confidence and lift in mood.

Seth,  originally from Seattle,  Washington, has been teaching yoga for five years, and practicing for 16 years.  He has studied yin yoga with Bernie Clark and Sarah Powers, Ghosh lineage with Esak Garcia, Vipassana meditation with senior teacher  S.N Goenka, and iRest, yoga nidra with Richard Miller. Seth was first introduced into yoga when he was 14 years of age
