OUR VALUES
Community
A sense of belonging is vital to physical and mental health. We welcome anyone who is curious to try—no special flexibility required! We encourage all those under our roof to interact with curiosity and kindness, understanding that we learn and grow best in healthy relationships. We offer a work-trade program for those who want to engage in the community through service to the studio, and we offer special events and teacher trainings so the community grows not only in size, but in depth.
Difference
We all come to class with different abilities and histories in our bodies. Your teachers will work with you to find adaptations you need to thrive in class. Our community began as a traditional hot yoga studio but has grown to encompass many styles. Different styles often mean differences in approach or opinion, and we embrace this! There is no one “right” way to practice. Our highly-trained teachers come from different methods and backgrounds, teaching different styles with their own personal flare. Challenge
People need challenge! It drives us to grow. Our classes are designed to challenge strength, endurance, and flexibility—but that doesn’t mean you need to be an athlete to enjoy class. A majority of our classes are suitable for beginners, and in all of our classes you will be encouraged to dial you effort down if the intensity is too much. All classes will also offer you the chance for deliberate, focused rest and relaxation. If you are ready to step beyond your beginner practice, we offer challenging options in all classes, as well as a menu of intermediate and advanced offerings you can continue to explore.
Practice
We work hard to curate a good experience within each class, ranging from to energetic and fun, to calm and meditative (read more specifics on our different classes here). But it is with consistent practice that the benefits you’re looking for will emerge. Many who find themselves in yoga practice are motivated to change physically, but with time you change internally, deepening your connection with your body and your awareness of self. Through practice, you can transform your relationship with your body into a source of power, and a well of peace.
